Young Voice

The Aims of Young Voice

"They should listen to us cos we're the future."

Young Voice makes young people's views count.

If you are a parent, an educator or youth worker - if you make policy decisions or local plans - you need to take into account the views of the people who will be affected by your decisions.

To make your service more appropriate, you need to know what young people think would work, or why they don't use the service now.

To make your parenting more effective, you need to hear what young men and women say about parents.

Across Britain children, young men and women take part in our research projects and our commissioned participation work. You can find out what they say, or commission us to evaluate your service. If you are under 22 you can also help as a volunteer or give your views in our future projects. (All views are given anonymously).

We currently hold advice, experiences and attitudes from over 7000 young people and are building our database all the time. We serve all young people regardless of race, religion, disability or sexual orientation and we work to improve their opportunities and the experience of growing up in Britain. Young Voice is a registered charity (no 1078319)

All our research is made available in a way that is easy to read whether you are fifteen or fifty. Click here to find out about our Publications and Projects.

"Girls our age are aware that nothing happens at a click of a finger, you have to work at it - a slow process. We're the ones who can do it."
